texview v0.0.2
New features:
- Display Array Textures (2D textures and Cubemaps)
- You can swizzle the color channels and even modify the pixelshader GLSL code (under ☑ Use advanced Swizzling → [Edit advanced Swizzling])
- Example usage: To display image files that for some reason have an empty alpha channels (like TGAs created with ancient Photoshop versions?), you can set Swizzle to
rgb1to make them opaque (1and0are special values not available in normal GLSL/HLSL swizzling that mean "set that color channel to1/0") - Other example: To flip the green and blue channel, you could set
rbga - For some kinds of .dds (with known variations of DXT5 like Doom3's xGBR aka "RXGB" normal maps) appropriate swizzling is automatically preconfigured
- Example usage: To display image files that for some reason have an empty alpha channels (like TGAs created with ancient Photoshop versions?), you can set Swizzle to
- Integer textures are now displayed properly (normalized to 0...1 in shader)
- Image files loaded through stb_image.h are now loaded in more appropriate formats
- 16bit per channel PNG or PSD files are now loaded as 16bit (GL_UNSIGNED_SHORT) textures
- HDR textures are now loaded as float textures
- Greyscale images are now loaded as GL_LUMINANCE or GL_LUMINANCE_ALPHA textures instead of RGB(A) to preserve their meaning
