First public release of Vecto — free open-source PNG/JPG to SVG vectorizer for Windows.

Planar image tracing: every boundary between two shapes is fitted once and shared, so the output has no hairline gaps or overlaps. Straight edges become true lines, circles become exact arcs, edges are placed with sub-pixel precision. Dark designer UI with live side-by-side compare, plus a headless CLI.

Install

  • Vecto-0.4.1.exe — the desktop app, single file, self-contained (no .NET needed). Download and run.
  • Vecto-0.4.1-win-x64.zip — app + vecto CLI + license.
  • Or build from source: see the README.

Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run (new, unsigned executable): More info -> Run anyway.
