@Daniele-Cangi Daniele-Cangi released this 04 Oct 12:40

Squishy Lab's first public release brings a complete browser playground for creating and squeezing cute 3D objects.

Highlights

  • Ten collection entries with nine soft-body geometries, including Mochi, Butter and Strawberry bars, Chocolate, Banana, Cat, Cheese and Peanut.
  • Progressive press-and-hold deformation, recovery, dragging, keyboard controls and fullscreen.
  • Soft touch, Glitter and Clear finishes, plus five facial expressions.
  • Custom messages with four cute fonts and a text color picker; lettering follows the deforming surface.
  • PNG downloads of the current squishy.
  • Recorded Gel and Crunchy sound textures, with Gel selected by default and audio unlocked by the first interaction.
  • Desktop customization sidebar and a mobile layout that keeps the playground above the controls.
  • Optional Cloudflare Workers AI material edits through a Vercel gateway, Turnstile verification and a persisted three-request rolling 24-hour allowance per public IP.

Documentation and validation

The English README includes current features, setup, architecture, licensing, badges and two new screenshots of the public site and a deformed squishy. Browser test selectors were updated to distinguish the AI prompt from the customization input. The affected browser suites passed 27/27 locally; production build and lint passed. Public personalization, PNG download, audio and mobile layout were verified during their implementation. Physical iPhone testing is not claimed.

Code is MIT licensed. Recorded audio and bundled fonts retain their separate licenses, documented in the repository.
