Hello world! so welcome to my Readme!
Welcome to my personal website! This is for Hack Club Stardance Challenge, what i've done is basically have a website which i wanted to have a maximalist style for but it's pretty far from it. It has a mixed of graphical mechanics and numerous pretty cool trinks which you wouldn't find in an ordinary personal website. This is for the Personal website mission! I've used Javascript, HTML & CSS to built the website.
You can type 'help' and it'll give you a mix of different commands you can run and ask in the system, it's basically a terminal like command prompt or bash.
So you don't have an ordinary normal cursor, it's more of a two color square where you can interact with anything the same way a normal cursor acts and it changes colors when you hover over something interactable.
Pretty self explanatory it's a sticker which rotates with text you can put in.
This is much more of an artistic touch rather than an actual feature i've put a vinyl record to show music and in it i've put the example of a Kanye West song.
So on the blog page, you can put in blogs you wrote or just post some of your best ones with an interactable button it appears like this.
index.html- This is like THE main page so all features like the terminal and cards are all here.blog.html- This is just the page for blogs.index.css- Everything which has a design feature, color or animation all comes from here since everything used CSS.terminal.js- This is the main functionality and the reason why the terminal works, if this file isn't being implemented or used then the terminal system won't work.
- Gemini, Copilot; to be very clear i have used a small amount of copilot in-line suggestions for code. Also i had absolutely 0 idea on how to work on the sticker tape stuff and the vinyl so i referred to Gemini and try learn what exactly do i need to have, after reading through large responses and also coming up with my graphical representations on how it could look like.
- So what you'd like to do is literally just click download the repository and/or just download the file content in the javascript, html and css files. It shouldn't take too much time, storage or even much editign to get your own stuff posted up. After you install everything just put it in 1 folder and click on the index.html page to get a preview of what you're going for. if you'd like to see an example of it just click here https://personal-website-alpha-mauve.vercel.app/ *
VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS OPEN SOURCE!!!!
