v7.0.2 — Claude hooks save the final answer from hook input and skip injected turns
mnemo: The Claude Code Stop hook saves the last_assistant_message field from its hook input instead of the last assistant text line in the transcript. Claude Code writes the transcript in batches, so a hook that ran before the final line was flushed saved an earlier progress note and lost the final answer (1 of 310 Stop events in this project since 09-01). Older CLIs without the field still read the transcript. The transcript line's uuid is indexed only when that line holds the same answer, so a repeated call or reconcile matches the turn by its 80-character fingerprint and does not save it twice. (539407b)
mnemo: The Claude Code UserPromptSubmit hook no longer saves machine-injected prompts as User turns: it skips source: "system" (task notifications, peer or channel messages, auto-continuation) and prompts that start with <task-notification>, since payloads may still omit source. Prompts with user, sdk, loop_wakeup or schedule_wakeup are kept. Notification turns saved before this release are left as they are. (539407b)
Documentation
Update the hook flow in skills/mnemo/docs/memory-system.md and add the v7.0.2 entry to the READMEs' recent changes. (539407b, e0f3c46)
Validation and Scope
New scripts/tests/mnemo-claude-hook-inputs.test.js runs the PowerShell and Bash hooks on a transcript that has not caught up, on input without last_assistant_message, and on system and notification prompts. Against the previous hooks 4 of its 6 tests fail (the 2 fallback tests pass). With this release all 6 pass, and the full Node suite passes (214; no failures or skips). Python tests were not run; no Python code changed.
Windows full installation passes all 12 Claude, Codex, Antigravity and Grok runtime checks. The installed Claude hooks match the source and keep their Grok and Devin guards.
Only the Claude Code hooks change. Codex save-turn already uses notify's last-assistant-message and Grok save-turn uses Stop's lastAssistantMessage. Antigravity's Stop input has no answer text, so it keeps reading the transcript. Devin reads its session database with retries.
Unrelated skill zip files in the working tree are excluded from this release.
