3.2.1

For a server running v3.2.0, this release changes nothing at runtime. Commands, config, permissions and stored login data all work exactly as before. The release adds automated tests that check the plugin's existing lookup behaviour, so it is safe to install whenever convenient.

Changes

Login lookups

  • Added tests that check how existing lookups behave in edge cases (#145). The tests cover:
    • login counts are kept separately for each account
    • the first-login time is kept and the last-login time moves forward when a player logs in again
    • an address with no recorded logins returns no accounts
    • /aaf accounts finds the same record however an IPv6 address is written, including IPv4-mapped forms
    • /aaf alts returns no potential alts for an account that has never logged in

Version

v3.2.0 → 3.2.1 — PATCH. Mechanical floor from comparing the two jars: PATCH.
Judgment: The only change since v3.2.0 is new characterization tests for LoginRepository (#145), plus the version bump to a snapshot. No production code, data format, command, config key, permission or API changes, so nothing is visible to a running server. I kept the patch floor because there is no reason to raise it.

  • no interface or storage difference observed between the jars

Verification

Verified on a real Spigot server before publication; this release carries the exact jar that was verified.

  • boot gate run: booted twice on a fresh Spigot server running Minecraft 1.19.4 (11 assertions passed).
  • boot gate run: booted twice on a fresh Spigot server running Minecraft 1.21.11 (11 assertions passed).
  • boot gate run: booted twice on a fresh Spigot server running Minecraft 26.2 (11 assertions passed).
  • boot gate run: booted twice on a fresh Spigot server running Minecraft 26.3 (11 assertions passed).
  • save-compatibility gate run: data written by v3.2.0 was loaded by this release across 5 restart cycles with nothing lost (32 assertions passed).
