2.7.0
For servers running v2.6.1, this is a drop-in upgrade that changes one gameplay behaviour: /de back now remembers where a player died. Before, it only returned players to where they were before their last teleport. Now, after a player dies, /de back takes them to their death location, so they can go back for dropped items. Commands, arguments, permissions and configuration are unchanged, and no saved data is affected.
Changes
Commands
/de backnow returns a player to where they last died, as well as to where they were before their last teleport. Whichever happened most recently is used (#198)
Anyone who can already use /de back gets this behaviour. If you don't want players returning to their death location, review who has access to /de back before you upgrade.
Version
v2.6.1 → 2.7.0 — MINOR. Mechanical floor from comparing the two jars: PATCH.
Judgment: PR #198 adds a new death listener, so /de back now also returns a player to where they last died. That is new gameplay behaviour the mechanical check could not see. The command's name and arguments are unchanged, and the stored location lives only in memory and is never saved to disk, so nothing an existing server relies on breaks and major is not warranted. The other changes (#197, #193, #194, #196, #190, #192) are a refactor, tests and documentation with no behaviour change.
- no interface or storage difference observed between the jars
Java API changes (informational — nothing depends on this plugin)
- public class added: dansplugins.dansessentials.commands.SubCommands
- public class added: dansplugins.dansessentials.listeners.DeathListener
