Mickey & Donald Collection is now on Android: the same port as the PC version, with all three games, true widescreen that fills your phone's screen and on-screen touch controls.

You need your own ROMs. This release contains no game code or data. It needs good dumps of the USA versions:

  • Mickey Mouse - Castle of Illusion (U) [!].bin (CRC32 BA4E9FD0)
  • Quack Shot Starring Donald Duck (JUE) (REV 00) [!].bin (CRC32 88C8DD94)
  • World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck (U) [!].bin (CRC32 921EBD1C)

Other regions, revisions, hacks or bad dumps aren't supported; the launcher names what it found instead of starting it.

How to install

  1. Download Mickey-and-Donald-Collection-Android-v1.0.apk below on your phone and open it. The first time, Android asks you to allow installing apps from your browser or file manager.
  2. Copy your ROMs to the phone, for example into Downloads. A zip of them is fine.
  3. Start Mickey & Donald and tap Add ROMs. Pick the files (several at once is fine); they're copied into the app, so you only do this once.

Requires a 64-bit phone or tablet with Android 6.0 or later.

On Android

  • Widescreen: the first start picks the widest mode that fits your screen (2:1 on most phones), with more of each level drawn at the sides and the HUD moved to the edges.
  • Touch controls: D-pad, A / B / C, Start and Menu, plus fast forward and rewind; shown while you use the screen, with adjustable opacity under Options.
  • Controllers: Bluetooth and USB controllers work too (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and most others, by button position), and hide the touch controls. Two controllers give World of Illusion its two players.
  • Menus: tap MENU or use the Back gesture. Tap rows to choose them, drag to scroll, and tap the left or right half of a setting's value to change it.
  • Same extras as on PC: save states, level select for all three games, cheats, the music player and sound test, rewind, picture filters (scanlines, CRT) and colour profiles.
