CHP is a simple Program written in Python which allows you to play the Game Hitster with custom Playlists
Sadly because the Spotify Web API does not allow for more than 5 Users on one application this requires some extra Steps and may be hard for the not techy people.
- a Spotify account
- a computer
and either:
- paper
- scissors
or:
- a printer
- the template
A Video Tutorial will be available someday, but it's the last thing I am going to do. So don't hope on it just yet.
The Base Hitster Rules can be found here: Base Rules
Here are only the new or changed Rules explained.
When you have either printed out the Template or have coppied the template on your paper, cut the pieces out.
Now you have lots of empty year cards first write a random Year on the first one or let the Program pick a random song and use that year. You can also use one of the Cards of the Hitster Game.
Lay it in front of you and that the beginning of your Timeline
When you guess the year of a song you lay a new empty year card on either side of your start card.
If you guessed right you can write the year of the song on the card and place it at the correct spot, now it's the next players turn.\
Repeat this until one Person has 10 Cards, this Person is the Winner.
You can use the normal gamemode but you do not care about the year and only for the song title and artist.
For every song title you guess correct you get 2 points.
For every song artist you guess you get 1 point.
And if you guessed both title and artist you get 3 Points.
Whoever gets to 20 points first wins the round.
A: Yes you need either a Spotify Premium or Spotify Basic Account.
