Fixed

  • Homebrew tap: post_install_steps migration — the obsidian-cli-ops formula's deprecated post_install hook is migrated to post_install_steps (data-wise/homebrew-tap PR #225); the tap also now bundles scripts/configure_mcp.py (previously missing from the installed package entirely) and its caveats point at the real claude mcp add/claude mcp list commands.
  • scripts/configure_mcp.py server-script path pinning — repo_dir was derived via Path(__file__).resolve(), and the resulting server-script path was .resolve()'d again at both print sites and in the claude mcp add args. When the script is invoked via Homebrew's opt/ stable symlink, .resolve() dereferenced opt/ down to a version-pinned Cellar path and baked it into the registered MCP server args — the exact path brew upgrade deletes on the next version bump. Dropped all .resolve() calls on the __file__-derived path so the stable symlink is preserved end-to-end.
