What's Changed
Features
- RUM partial view updates are now enabled by default. Most updates send only changed fields instead of the full view event, reducing payload size. #3233
Fixes
- Release RUM display-link observers and their frame readers when the SDK is released, fixing a memory leak. #3216
- Prevent attributes from overwriting those of an earlier visit to the same RUM view while that visit still has pending resources. #3217
- Use consistent RUM session information for trace sampling immediately after SDK initialization, and ensure traced requests carry the matching session ID. #3221
- Pin KSCrash to version
2.5.1in Swift Package Manager to prevent automatically resolving newer versions. #3232 - Report slow-frame and freeze rates when a RUM view becomes inactive without an explicit
stopView()call. Exclude time spent in the background from these calculations. #3237
Improvements
- Increase the custom attribute limit from 256 to 1900. RUM applies the limit separately to
context, usr, andaccount; Logs and Traces share one limit across these attributes. Log user and account extra attributes now count toward this shared limit. #3198
Other Changes
- Swift Package Manager now requires Swift tools version 6.2 (Xcode 26) or later. Swift language modes are unchanged. #3231
