Core 0.4.3 adds optional text detector selection across Rust, Python, Node.js, and browser WASM. Only selected detectors run, avoiding work for types the caller does not need.

  • Pass entities: ["EMAIL"] to scan for email alone.
  • Omit entities to keep existing defaults.
  • Reject empty, duplicate, and unsupported selections as configuration errors.
  • Preserve finding order, Unicode offsets, email source context, and optional-detector activation requirements. Structured scanning is unchanged.

All runtimes publish from 144bf9a.

Validation: Rust quality and workspace tests; package builds; clean crates.io selection/offset checks; clean PyPI fixture and mypy/Pyright tests; clean npm Node 24 and Chromium WASM conformance and typing tests. Python includes five platform wheels and the source distribution. Node includes all five native platform packages.

Publishing runs: Rust, Python, Node, WASM.
