Beta release of model support, built from tested main commit 7ec5b2ccf0bfa13db4f99060c1a9f01984cd179d.

  • Add local DataFog and GLiNER2 model sessions in Rust, Python, and Node, with open, scan, and close.
  • Return consistent model results and errors, with cancellation and resource cleanup.
  • Support Linux x64 and ARM64, macOS Intel and Apple Silicon, and Windows x64.
  • Include the GLiNER2 runner in the existing Python package. Install its optional dependencies with pip install 'datafog-core[gliner2]==0.4.5b1'. Model weights must be downloaded separately; installing the package does not download them.
  • Preserve the existing rule-based APIs, which run without model weights. WASM continues to support the rule-based API.

Install this beta:

pip install datafog-core==0.4.5b1
npm install @datafog/node@beta
npm install @datafog/wasm@beta
cargo add datafog-core@0.4.5-beta.1

All 10 functional model checks (two models across five platforms) passed on this exact commit, as did the regular Rust, Python, Node, and WASM checks. Publishing requires the passing functional run: https://github.com/DataFog/datafog-core/actions/runs/39344617329.

This is a prerelease for further testing. npm packages use the beta tag; latest remains on 0.4.4.
