LakeDB 0.11.3 Beta 2

LakeDB 0.11.3 Beta 2 gives the SQL workspace a calmer, more focused toolbar
and makes the public product site easier to explore on mobile.

A cleaner SQL workspace

• Remove low-value Favorite and overflow controls from the main SQL toolbar.
• Move per-tab transaction actions into Database → Transactions, keeping
  autocommit, manual transactions, commit and rollback available without
  permanently occupying editor space.
• Replace the native snippet selector with a LakeDB menu that can open the
  snippet library, create a snippet from the current SQL or insert built-in and
  saved snippets.
• Give query history a dedicated clock action.
• Restyle the Compact/Expanded format selector and snippet menu so they use the
  current LakeDB theme without native grey button surfaces.

Better mobile documentation

• Show complete product screenshots on narrow screens instead of cropped
  mobile-specific fragments.
• Fit all three workflow choices within the mobile viewport without a hidden
  horizontal scrollbar.
• Keep screenshots available in the full-screen viewer when more detail is
  needed.

There are no configuration or database migrations in this release. Existing
connections, encrypted credentials, folders, preferences, snippets and
restored workspaces remain preserved.

This release provides macOS Apple Silicon, Windows x64 and Linux x64 packages,
with one SHA-256 checksum for every package. Pre-1.0 macOS and Windows packages
remain unsigned by a paid platform identity and may display the documented
first-launch warning.

LakeDB 0.11.2 Beta 2 restores a predictable Windows update flow.

Visible Windows installer

• Replace the experimental silent updater with the normal Windows installer.
• Keep LakeDB open after selecting Open installer instead of closing the
  application before installation has succeeded.
• Show clear in-app confirmation after the verified installer has opened.
• Continue validating the downloaded setup executable against its published
  SHA-256 checksum before it can be launched.

Upgrading from 0.11.0 or 0.11.1 on Windows

The old Restart and update action is part of the already-installed build,
so it cannot repair itself. Select View release in LakeDB, download
LakeDB-0.11.2-beta.2-win-x64-setup.exe manually and run it. After this
one-time manual upgrade, future Windows updates use the visible Open
installer flow and never close LakeDB automatically.

Connections, encrypted credentials, folders, preferences and restored
workspaces are stored outside the application package and remain preserved.

LakeDB 0.10.6 Beta

LakeDB 0.10.6 keeps every saved connection reachable from both Home and the
compact connection picker, and makes first-launch expectations clearer for the
public beta packages.

Complete connection picker

• Show a virtual Unclassified group in the connection + picker whenever
  saved connections do not belong to a folder.
• Select Unclassified to browse and open every ungrouped connection without
  returning to Home.
• Keep the virtual group name, ordering and translated label consistent with
  the Home connection browser.

Safer macOS beta packaging

• Apply a complete ad-hoc signature to the macOS beta app and its nested
  components before building the DMG and ZIP.
• Verify the DMG checksum, mount the finished image and validate the embedded
  app signature as part of the local release process.
• Preserve the canonical local app under
  release/mac-arm64/LakeDB.app after release packaging.

No connection, credential or session migration is required. Existing settings,
folders and locally encrypted credentials are preserved.

First launch

The pre-1.0 beta does not yet use a trusted Apple Developer ID, Apple
notarization or a Windows code-signing certificate:

• macOS: move LakeDB to Applications, try to open it once, then use
  System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
• Windows: if Microsoft Defender SmartScreen appears, verify that the
  package came from the official LakeDB release, choose More info, then
  Run anyway.

Every package includes a matching SHA-256 checksum. Please report bugs and
