@DavidArmstrong DavidArmstrong released this 24 May 16:33

The sanity checks done at the start of setGMTtime() may result in the function not executing in certain circumstances when it is called by setLocalTime(). The sanity checks were changed to avoid this corner case.

Added functions to flag Lunar Rise/Set as Valid or not

Release adds functions to flag a computed Moon Rise or Moon Set time as valid for the day provided. This is because some days will not have a Moon Rise or Moon Set time on that date, as the Moon progresses in its' orbit around the Earth.

Change int casts to long cast statements

@DavidArmstrong DavidArmstrong released this 09 Feb 04:30

On the Mega 2560, doing an (int) cast can result in an overflow condition when the number being cast is larger than the machine allocation for integers. For SAMD processors, an (int) cast doesn't approach this limit because 32-bit processors default to a larger number of bytes to store integers. Therefore, to avoid a possible overflow condition when using the Mega 2560, the two code functions that used (int) have been updated to use (long) instead. This will avoid that problem.

Update variable naming to avoid possible MCU kernel conflicts

8996d39

Many of the variable names were changed in the library to avoid possible conflicts with variable names used by some processors for their kernel code. Also removed the requirement to use true double number variables, with a warning that some loss of accuracy will occur. Also add warning that library size is about 60K, and so will not fit on smaller platforms, such as the original Arduino Uno boards.
