Learn about vigilant mode.

Departure Mono is now the default pixel typeface in Lanternwood.

  • Embed the complete, unmodified Departure Mono 1.500 WOFF2 for offline use, including Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and box-drawing glyphs.
  • Include Helena Zhang's copyright notice and the SIL Open Font License 1.1 in the distributed CSS.
  • Keep Pixelify Sans and Silkscreen available in Style Settings, preserving existing saved selections and font overrides.
  • Preserve the note-text font toggle and the standard Obsidian font-size setting.

Validation: build, standard Stylelint, Chromium 114 compatibility lint and embedded-asset/license checks pass. Offline browser checks cover all three fonts in light/dark modes, default typography without Style Settings, Spanish accents and monospaced glyph widths. Actual Obsidian checks cover the default, the real font selector, font overrides and all 27 font/view/size combinations across Reading, Live Preview and Source at 16/22/28 px. The complete CSS stays below 1 MB.
