Server Update v28
Schema v28 preserves the optional workshop-record link on a Scratch Pad note. Schema v27 adds opt-in note sharing: a note appears on another device only when Share with workspace is enabled. Private notes remain backed up to their source device.
Use the Supabase bundle attached to the same Inventorinator release as the
app. Replace the extracted server bundle as a complete unit. Keep its
migrations/, install-or-update.sh, and apply-migrations.sh together. Do
not copy individual SQL files or run SQL manually.
- Back up the PostgreSQL database.
- Replace the server's complete Inventorinator Supabase bundle with the new extracted bundle.
- From that bundle, run:
./apply-migrations.sh- Confirm the updater ends with:
Inventorinator schema v28 is ready.
If the updater reports that its v28 migration is missing, the server directory contains a mixed bundle. Replace the complete bundle from the release and run the same command again.
Open Scratch Pad on two paired devices. Create a note and turn on Share with workspace. It should appear under Shared with workspace on the other device. A note without that toggle remains private to its device while its backup remains available for recovery and removed-device review.
