First formal release of the Python adaptation of KMCS, a lattice-based kinetic Monte Carlo model for pulsed multi-material thin-film growth.
Included in this release
- Single- and multi-material growth simulations
- Successive deposited layers with independently defined parameters
- Automated temperature-frequency simulation runs
- Case-specific DOE and OVAT validation analysis
- Pillar number-density analysis
- 2D and 3D snapshot visualization
- Curated example data and validation figures
- Reproducible seeds with recorded software and random-generator metadata
- Apache 2.0 licensing, citation metadata, contributor history, and automated smoke tests
Materials 1–3 correspond to the parameterization associated with the published LMO–LLTO study. Material 4 is an unvalidated demonstration using placeholder interaction energies.
See the README and CHANGELOG for details.
