RIGOS 0.0.4-alpha.22 Functional Physical Preview

This is a GitHub Pre-release / Alpha build. It is not stable and not production-ready.

Status

  • STATUS: FUNCTIONAL PHYSICAL PREVIEW
  • BOOT: PASS
  • CONFIG: PASS
  • MINING: PASS
  • POOL_SUBMISSION: PASS
  • BASIC_PERSISTENCE: PASS
  • PRODUCTION_READINESS: NOT YET PROVEN

Physical testing proved that Alpha.22 boots, configures, persists basic state, and mines successfully. The captured mining run showed active hashrate around 417 H/s with an average around 301 H/s. This does not yet prove unattended production operation.

Exact source and image evidence

  • SOURCE_COMMIT: d17ca53
  • IMAGE_VERSION: 0.0.4-alpha.22

Assets

  • Normal appliance:
    igos-usb-amd64-0.0.4-alpha.22.img.part-*
  • Recovery image:
    igos-recovery-amd64-0.0.4-alpha.22.iso
  • Integrity: SHA256SUMS, original .sha256 files, and build manifest

The USB image is split into deterministic parts for GitHub release asset compatibility. Reassemble before flashing.

Production hardening still pending

Alpha.23 must prove self-healing and observability before any beta claim:

  • health supervisor with bounded restart/backoff;
  • network and pool recovery;
  • miner process/hang/zero-hashrate recovery;
  • persistent state failure safety;
  • log control and secret redaction;
  • headless
    igosctl health/state/miner/network inspection;
  • power-cycle, network, pool, miner, state failure, and multi-day soak tests.

Security note

Release assets intentionally exclude wallet identity, rig credentials, SSH private keys, private rig.conf, state partition dumps, and raw runtime logs with secrets.
