The Configurator has been reorganised.
Six tabs became four, named after what you want to do: Appearance, Content, Connections, System. The settings most people never touch now sit behind More settings — 16 controls at a glance instead of 32.
Nothing was removed. Your presets, profiles and Quick Looks are unchanged.
New:
- A first-run setup that walks you through picking a look and a background
- Language picker (Automatic / English / Deutsch), applied immediately
- Reset all screen settings, with a backup saved first
- A status banner naming the setup step that is still missing
- Sliders for pill height and width, previously tray-only
Water ripple and Liquid Distortion run on a new render path — they now work in Wallpaper Engine too.
Fixed, among others: Aurora and Plasma were effectively invisible · Waves stopped partway across the desktop · tinted gradients lost their colour · the glow grid only responded on one of two monitors · the update check ranked beta 9 above beta 10.
Re-import the wallpaper bundles — the wallpaper itself changed. In Lively, remove the wallpaper and import the new zip; in Wallpaper Engine, re-subscribe or re-import.
Bridge-only release — no bundle re-import needed.
