Music Craft 1.0.0

Hey everyone! Welcome to the initial 1.0.0 release of Music Craft for Minecraft 26.3 (Java 25).

Music Craft turns normal in-game jukeboxes into shared audio players. Instead of hearing vanilla discs alone, everyone nearby can listen to synchronized music, search public tracks, tune into live web radio, or stream your server's own custom MP3 library with true 3D spatial sound.

What is included

  • 3D Positional Audio: Volume and stereo panning adjust dynamically as you walk around the jukebox.
  • Shared Jukebox Queues: Anyone standing near the jukebox can see the queue, request new songs, and control playback together.
  • Live Web Radio: Search and stream real-world online radio stations directly in your world.
  • Custom Server Music: Put your own MP3 files into plugins/MusicCraft/music/ on your server and players can browse and play them immediately without needing port forwarding.
  • Public Music Catalog: Stream tracks from the online catalog right into your game.
  • Smart Configuration: Integrated config versioning (version 1) and an automatic updater that preserves custom server settings while migrating newly added options.
  • Universal Server Support: Compatible with Paper, Purpur, Spigot, and CraftBukkit servers for Minecraft 26.3.
  • Client Branding: Added official in-game mod icon for Fabric and Mod Menu.
  • Stability & Bug Fixes: Polished audio streaming pipelines, connection recovery, and network validation.

Quick Setup

Fabric Client

  1. Make sure you are running Minecraft 26.3 on Java 25 with Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer.
  2. Put MusicCraft-Fabric-1.0.0.jar and fabric-api-0.161.0+26.3.jar into your .minecraft/mods folder.
  3. Join a server running the Paper/Spigot plugin and right-click any jukebox block.

Server Operators (Paper / Spigot / Bukkit)

  1. Put MusicCraft-Paper-1.0.0.jar into your server's plugins/ directory.
  2. Start or restart the server to generate plugins/MusicCraft/config.yml.
  3. Set your server identifier in config.yml.
