it seems that this section could be expanded easily to quantify the range of accepted
signal processing parameters, provide literature-grounded values (or at least refer to the
table listing them) and estimate the range of biases/variance expected from the
range of processing values. We at least need to discuss: fixed coda window and compare
when moving windows (Takano?), we need another section on the references
so that we can quantify the effects of whole stack, early stack, movin stack, or full
inversion in the Brenguier style.
Context: same section as the note above (§sec:params), asking specifically for (1) literature-grounded ranges of each processing parameter, referencing the existing survey table if one exists (Appendix survey, ~103 studies), (2) a fixed-vs-moving coda window comparison with a "Takano?" citation that needs to be located/verified, and (3) a new comparison of whole-stack, early-stack, moving-stack, and full joint-inversion reference schemes in the style of Brenguier et al. 2014 (@Brenguier2014, already cited elsewhere in the manuscript).
Acceptance criterion: (a) a table or explicit cross-reference to the survey table in paper/manuscript_marine.qmd's Appendix listing literature-grounded ranges for each processing parameter; (b) a new fixed-vs-moving coda window comparison, with the "Takano?" reference confirmed (a real Takano et al. paper exists in paper/survey.bib — Takano2017 and Taira2015/Takano2017, verify which fits and cite it correctly, don't guess); (c) a new quantified comparison of whole-stack, early-stack, moving-stack, and joint-inversion reference schemes against ground truth, in the style of @Brenguier2014.
