"No description available." on titles that do have one, just not in your language.
TMDB keeps the plot separately per language and has no fallback of its own, so where a
translation is missing the answer carries an empty text rather than the English original.
Nexview now fetches the English one, for titles as well as seasons and episodes. The extra
request only happens where the description is actually empty, and the answer is remembered
for a week. Measured against a real cache: 64 of 454 titles carried no description, 29 of
them from this year. Reported in

A series TMDB has no TVDB id for is no longer simply refused. Sonarr adds series by
their TVDB id, and for new titles TMDB regularly does not have it yet. Nexview now asks
Sonarr, which knows the same series through its own search. Where one hit carries the TMDB
number that was requested, the match is certain and nothing is asked. Where it is not
certain, the suggestions are put up for you to choose from, with what you actually
requested beside them: "Still Water" (Thailand, 2026) and "Still Waters" (Wales, 1995) are
one letter apart and not the same show, so Nexview does not guess. Where nothing fits, the
message says whether waiting will help. The chosen id is verified against the same search
before it is accepted, and accounts with an age limit get the explanation rather than the
choice. Reported in #5. -
Future seasons now count against the storage quota of whoever asked for them. Ticking
"also future seasons" is a promise, but the accounting read it inconsistently: somebody who
requested a whole series was charged for seasons that turned up later, somebody who
requested season 1 and ticked the box was not. Both answer the same way now. The count
quota counts wishes, so a later season costs no further slot; the storage quota counts
bytes, so it lands on the account of whoever ticked the box. This applies to seasons
arriving from now on; what has already been attributed stays where it is. -
Cancelling a failed request threatened to delete files it was never going to touch.
The confirmation always announced that the title would be removed from Radarr or Sonarr,
that the quota would be freed, and that downloaded files would go with it. For a failed
request none of that is true: it never got as far as being added, and it costs no quota
either. It now says what actually happens, and the warning about files only appears when
there is something to delete. -
A series that failed to be added no longer stays behind in Sonarr. Adding a series and
switching its season on are two calls; when the second failed, the request was marked
failed and the series stood in Sonarr anyway. What the failed call created is taken back
now. Only that: a series that was already there is never touched, a timeout is left alone
because it does not mean nothing happened, and files are kept, because the folder may be
older than the series. -
"No seasons yet" was read as "does not have that season". Sonarr loads the metadata of
a freshly added series asynchronously, so asking right afterwards returns a series without
seasons. That is a moment, not a defect, and the status sync switches the season on in its
next pass. -
Five log lines still arrived in German, and a warning in the Sonarr module would have
crashed instead of warning, because that module used a logger it never defined. The rule
that the log is English throughout is kept by a test, but that test reads the fixed texts
in the source, and those are English; a line handing an error object straight to the log
passes it and writes German anyway. A new guard reads the source and reports exactly that.
Log lines without a code now also name the HTTP status.
