Requirements

Live mode requires a compatible Smart Drink Fridge server reachable from the iPhone over HTTPS. The app connects directly to the server configured by the user; no hosted Smart Drink Fridge account is required.

For private remote access, Tailscale and HTTPS is the recommended path. A reverse proxy with a valid certificate also works.

Connect the app

1. Install and open Smart Drink Fridge from the App Store.
2. Enter the HTTPS base address of your server.
3. Sign in with a Smart Drink Fridge account when accounts are enabled.
4. Allow camera access only if you want to scan barcodes with the iPhone.
5. Configure widgets from the iOS Home Screen after the first successful connection.

Privacy

The developer does not receive analytics, advertising identifiers, account data, inventory data or scan data. The app exchanges data only with the server selected by the user. Read the complete privacy policy.

Troubleshooting

• Confirm the server opens from Safari on the same iPhone.
• Use a valid HTTPS certificate and the exact server base URL.
• Check that the server version is current under Settings → Updates.
• With Tailscale, confirm server and iPhone are connected to the same tailnet.
• Verify the account in the web interface before changing app settings.
