The first stable release. Tax Co-Pilot 1.0.0 covers federal 1040-style returns for tax years 2023–2025 (preferential rates, SE tax, EITC, education/care credits, NIIT, Additional Medicare Tax with full Form 8959, Schedule 8812, capital-loss carryover, military provisions), six income-tax state packs plus nine no-tax stubs, multi-state W-2 apportionment with the resident credit, encrypted-at-rest storage, full audit traces with an integrity chain, and a local web UI — verified by 695 tests with every tax parameter source-checked and every simplification documented. The stable application compatibility promise begins with this release.
