If a bootable RAID array is not required:

  • Install the .deb or .rpm rcraid-nvme package.
  • That's it! You should be able to see RAIDXpert2 volumes under Linux.

If you are creating a new Linux install and want to boot from RAID:

  • Start your PC with a Fedora or Debian live system installer environment
  • Download and run the raidxpert2-install utility
  • Follow the prompts in the utility and proceed to install Linux
  • Next time the PC starts, Linux is able to boot from RAID
