Extends the uosc control bar so a single button slot can show several states and switch between them:
- Holding a modifier key (inputevent)
- Keys in
input.conf - Property observers — fields referencing
[[property]]update on the fly - Auto-profiles — e.g. a different set of buttons in fullscreen
- MPV player
- uosc user interface
- inputevent — optional, but recommended
- Copy the
ucm/folder into your mpvscriptsfolder. MPV loads it as the script nameducm. - Copy
ucm.confintoscript-opts(MPV only auto-readsscript-opts/<script-name>.conf).
- Pick buttons in
ucm.conf— it ships with 9 commented example buttons; uncomment the ones you want. - Reference them in
uosc.confwithbutton:<name>. - Optionally, map states to modifier keys with
state_map(needs inputevent) — otherwise the button just shows its default state.
- How it works — what a state is, why placeholders exist (read this first)
- Button configuration — conf syntax, fields, fill-up, coercion
-
Global configuration —
state_map,state_cycle_map, and the other script-level options -
Placeholders —
[[property]],??/?!/!!,?(f),?(p),?(c),UCM_NIL - Script messages — everything other scripts / input.conf can send, and the replies
- Examples — input.conf, other-script snippets, button injection
- Per-profile button layouts — different button sets per situation (fullscreen, anime, music)
