New: Maiboli Desktop — dictation everywhere on your computer, with nothing to set up.

  • Windows: download Maiboli Setup 0.4.0.exe, double-click, done. No sox, no PowerShell, no dependencies — the app records audio itself.
  • macOS (Apple Silicon): download Maiboli-0.4.0-arm64.dmg, drag to Applications, right-click → Open the first time.

A 🎤 icon appears in your system tray (Windows: bottom-right near the clock) / menu bar (Mac). Click it or press Ctrl+Alt+M (Mac: Cmd+Alt+M) to record; press again to stop — the English text is pasted wherever your cursor is, in any app. Right-click the icon for Settings (provider, API keys, AI rewrite, shortcut).

The VS Code extension continues to work as before for editor-only use.
