A unified configuration system for AI agents across multiple providers (Devin, Windsurf, Claude, and more). One source of truth for AI agent settings, skills, MCP servers, and rules.
- Unified configuration: a single config file that all AI providers read
- XDG-compliant: follows Linux, macOS, and Windows directory standards
- Migration support: automatically migrates existing provider configs
-
Two-way sync:
ai-config syncwrites the unified config back to each provider's native files (MCP servers, rules, skills, settings) - Wide provider coverage: Devin, Windsurf, Claude, Cursor, Codex, Gemini, VS Code/Copilot, Zed, Continue
-
Project-local config: per-project settings with a
.ai/directory - Shared resources: MCP servers and skills shared across providers
- Provider overrides: provider-specific settings when you need them
