What's new

Atomic Coins

• The coin store now reads "Get Atomic Coins early". Coins aren't sold in the app yet: support Atomic Notes at the amount you choose, and the developer sends Atomic Coins to your account as an early-supporter reward.
• The sheet shows your account email to share when you support, and "Support Atomic Notes" opens the support page on the website.
• The Energy screen button now reads "Get Atomic Coins".

Notifications

• Buttons in notifications can now open web pages in your browser. Only secure (https) links open.

Live on the server for every version

• Daily energy: +20 arrives at the same time every day, and days you didn't open the app are added the next time you do, up to the 120 cap.
• New accounts get three welcome messages, including how to use the 5 welcome coins.

What's in it

Sync

• Changes sync by themselves a few seconds after you stop editing, when you come back to the app, and when the network returns. There is still one automatic sync per hour; Sync now works any time.
• A sync cut off by a closed app or a lost connection finishes on its own, without a second charge.
• A connection that drops mid-sync is retried after 5, 15 and 45 seconds.
• Faster uploads: the Server writes eight notes to Google Drive at a time.

Notifications

• The bell shows messages from the Atomic Notes team.
• Tap a message to mark it read, or use ✕ to dismiss it. Pinned notices stay until they are resolved.

Notes and home screen

• Clean note cards: only the title and the note. The date is shown in the editor.
• Atomi, the mascot, tells you whether everything is synced and when the next automatic sync runs.
• Landscape: the header scrolls away, so the notes get the screen.
• Offline, the header keeps your username, and messages say plainly that your changes are safe on the phone.

• Tachyon 30 notes (free), Antimatter 40 (10 coins), Monopole 50 (20), Strangelet 100 (30).
