A redesigned dashboard

The dashboard is now a workspace you compose yourself: add the cards you need, pick the right size for each, and arrange a layout that fits how you work.

  • Card gallery: an iOS-style add-card sheet that previews every size a card offers before you add it.
  • A consistent sizing system: half-width and full-width cards share the same height, with unified titles, spacing and corner radii across both the simple and gradient themes.
  • Subscription info: a new half-width variant shows usage on a tilted perspective ring that changes color as you approach your limit.
  • Outbound mode: now removable and re-addable like any other card. A new half-width variant switches between Global, Rule and Direct with an iOS-style scroll wheel and animated icons.
  • Network speed: a new immersive half-width variant shows live upload and download speed as continuously flowing lines.
  • Route tracing: an interactive dotted globe with fly-to camera and flowing route lines. Hop locations are more accurate, anycast addresses and Cloudflare data centers are identified, and implausible latencies are flagged. Tracing no longer requires stopping the proxy service.
  • New cards: connectivity check, photo and route tracing.
  • IP info: shows the node's real entry IP, including relay chains, private DNS and provider nodes.

Also in this release

  • New name and icon: the new Diodos logo across the launcher, notifications and the Quick Settings tile, with support for Android 13 themed icons.
  • Cross-device backup: encrypted LAN transfer of backups between phones, or between a phone and a computer.
  • Onboarding: a guided tour on first launch.
  • Liquid glass materials: new glass surfaces and background blur for the navigation bar, dialogs and more.
  • Leaner subscription updates: adding or updating a subscription now sends a single request to the server.
  • Download progress at startup: external resources show their download progress on first launch.
  • Editor highlighting: YAML highlighting in the config editor, and YAML / JavaScript highlighting in script editors.
  • Core updates: MetaCubeX Alpha 94b13aed and vernesong Alpha 83e67d0c.
