What's new

🪟 Settings & History in a dedicated tabbed window

  • Settings no longer distort the floating bar: they now open in a real, resizable window.
  • History joins that window in a separate tab — the window has two tabs: History | Settings.
  • The bar is simpler: a clock button opens History, a gear button opens Settings.
  • Real-time sync: a new dictation, a deletion or "Clear all" is reflected immediately between the bar and the history.

💡 On Hyprland/wm: the window is titled "Sonora — History/Settings" (≠ the bar's exact "Sonora" title), so it doesn't inherit your windowrules targeting the bar.

🐧 Nix / NixOS packaging

  • Fix for the blank window rendering: Tauri's custom-protocol feature is now enabled in the Nix package.
  • nix run github:Devitek/sonora and nix build .#default are up to date for this version.

  • Linux: .AppImage (portable) or .deb — or nix run github:Devitek/sonora on NixOS
  • macOS: .dmg (Apple Silicon = aarch64, Intel = x64) — unsigned build (right-click → Open)
  • Windows: .msi or the NSIS .exe setup
