Medical Chatbot Project

Overview

This Medical Chatbot is designed to provide answers to medical-related questions using OpenAI's GPT-3 model. It features a simple Go server for the backend and a basic HTML/JavaScript frontend.

Prerequisites

• Go (version 1.16 or later)
• An API key from OpenAI

Setup

1. Clone the Repository

2. OpenAI API Key:

• Obtain an API key from OpenAI by signing up at their developer platform.
• Set your OpenAI API key in the main.go file:

Running the Server

1. Start the Server:

• In the project directory, run:

  go run main.go
  

• This will start the server on localhost at port 8080.

2. Accessing the Chatbot:

• Open your web browser and go to http://localhost:8080.
• You should see a simple chatbot interface.

3. Using the Chatbot:

• Type your medical-related question in the input box and click "Ask".
• The response will be displayed below the input box.
