🛠️ Setup Instructions

📁 Installation

1. Download the latest SimpleLauncher.zip from the Releases page.
2. Extract the contents to any folder you want (USB stick, external drive, or local folder).
3. Run SimpleLauncher.exe directly — no installation needed.
4. Settings and configurations will be saved inside the folder, keeping it fully portable.
5. To update, just replace the files with the new version and keep your existing settings folder.

First Run

When you open SimpleLauncher for the first time, the Setup Wizard will guide you through:

• Adding shortcuts
• Choosing a background
• Setting the parental PIN
• Enabling optional auto-start at login

🔐 Parental Control

You can protect specific shortcuts with a code prompt.
Default PIN: 9678 (changeable in settings).

🧾 Privacy

SimpleLauncher stores configuration files locally in %AppData%\SimpleLauncher
No telemetry, tracking, or internet access is required.
