First public release of Insight: self-hosted, cookieless web analytics you run with one Docker compose file.
What it does
- Real-time dashboard with a 5-second refresh and an engagement-based "online now" counter
- Live 3D world map of the visitors currently on your sites
- Cookieless tracker: nothing stored on the visitor's device by default, with an optional
data-persistmode for precise returning-visitor and retention tracking - Revenue attribution through Stripe, funnels, and weekly retention cohorts
- AI crawler tracking (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Googlebot and others), per page, detected server side
- Optional Google Analytics 4 and Search Console import
- Read-only CLI to query stats from a terminal or an AI assistant
- Two-factor login using a native RFC 6238 implementation, with no OTP dependency
