Fusebox v0.5.1

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 10:44

The streaming, caching, and binary-efficiency update, with the TLS dependency patched before publication. The v0.5.0 tag was retained without publishing a release after the dependency audit found newly published Rustls advisories.

Changes

  • Update Rustls to 0.23.46, addressing RUSTSEC-2026-0346, RUSTSEC-2026-0347, RUSTSEC-2026-0348, and RUSTSEC-2026-0349.
  • Scan fragmented SSE lines once. A synthetic 4 MiB event in 16 KiB chunks decoded in 1.875 ms versus 123.169 ms before; ordinary proxy latency and provider generation speed are unchanged.
  • Embed compressed dashboard text and omit unused SQLite full-text/spatial modules. Matching Linux builds measured a 4.96% smaller executable; the ten dashboard text assets transfer 71.6% fewer bytes with gzip. ETags and conditional requests avoid downloading unchanged assets. These measurements precede the Rustls patch.
  • Add optional client/workspace cache-key scopes, namespaces, incompatible-hint policies, and requested/applied diagnostics across HTTP and native Codex WebSockets. Caller keys, client isolation, account affinity, and session-scope defaults are preserved.
  • Avoid redundant copies in request translation, response parsing, and continuation history; reduce time holding the routing lock.
  • Add optional HTTP body, concurrency, and aggregate decoded-body limits, with permits held through response completion or cancellation. Aggregate admission remains unlimited by default.
  • Cache Docker dependencies separately from application/UI changes and cache release build outputs by target.
  • Match Claude Code 2.1.299 in the default client identity.

See the implementation report for measurement methods and limits, and the configuration reference for the new settings.

Fusebox v0.4.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 11 Oct 18:32
cafc8f0

The first release of Fusebox: one fast binary that turns your Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Antigravity, Grok, Kimi, Meta, Devin and Vertex accounts into OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini compatible APIs, with a dashboard built in.

Fusebox grew out of CLIProxyAPI-Rust by @IuCC123 and carries on from its v0.3.2. Everything you set up for CLIProxyAPI-Rust or CLIProxyAPI keeps working.

Fusebox dashboard

Highlights since v0.3.2

  • Usage and costs. A Usage page records the tokens every request used, can import opted-in Claude Code and Codex histories (also from a collector on another machine), and estimates what that would cost at API list prices. Named clients give each tool its own key, so you can see which tool sent what.
  • Smart quota balancing. routing: smart-quota sends new sessions to the account whose weekly limit renews first, so allowance that would expire unused gets used, while a 5-hour reserve protects sessions that are already running.
  • Better prompt caching. Conversations without a session id are recognised by their first message and stay on one account, and ChatGPT, OpenAI and xAI get a stable cache key.
  • A rebuilt dashboard. New design, a command palette (Cmd/Ctrl K), a phone layout, a Models page, live account activity, a settings editor alongside the YAML file, and setup snippets for Claude Code, Codex, the OpenAI SDK and curl under Config, Clients.
  • Installable app with push notifications. Over HTTPS the dashboard installs as an app and can notify you when a sign-in expires or a provider runs out of capacity.
  • New models without a release. Claude and Codex accounts fetch their model lists from the provider, and the Models page can add any other model by hand.
  • Current client identities. Requests match Claude Code 2.1.296, Codex CLI 0.162.1, Grok Build 1.0.50, Muse Code 1.4.4, Devin CLI 3000.11.3 and Antigravity 2.22.0, and a daily check opens an issue when one of them falls behind.
  • Banked resets (opt-in): see and use the limit resets your Claude and ChatGPT subscriptions have banked.
  • Management API: GET /api/faults, a faults event on /api/live, and ongoing sessions in load events.
  • Fixes: token accounting when a client closes a finished stream, adaptive thinking across Claude tool turns, idle Codex WebSockets (thanks @dr-baker), compressed request bodies, and faster streaming with per-account connection pools.

Download the archive for your platform below, extract it and run ./fusebox. Then open http://127.0.0.1:8317 and connect an account.

Linux, x86_64 fusebox-…-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz
Linux, ARM64 fusebox-…-aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz
Windows, x86_64 fusebox-…-x86_64-pc-windows-msvc.zip

SHA256SUMS lists every archive's checksum, and each archive has a build attestation you can check with gh attestation verify <archive> -R DigitalPals/Fusebox.

Or run the ghcr.io/digitalpals/fusebox image (amd64 and arm64) as the quick start shows, or build it with Rust 1.88 or newer: cargo install --git https://github.com/DigitalPals/Fusebox.

The binaries are not code-signed. If macOS refuses to open it, run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine fusebox once.

Upgrading from CLIProxyAPI-Rust

  • The binary is now fusebox and the image ghcr.io/digitalpals/fusebox.
  • auth-dir defaults to ~/.fusebox, but ~/.cli-proxy-api is used when only that one exists.
  • The CLIPROXYAPI_RUST_* variables and x-cliproxy-* request headers still work. The response header naming the account is now x-fusebox-account (was x-cliproxyapi-rust-account).

See the README for configuration, endpoints and coming from CLIProxyAPI.
