v0.2.0 - CLI + surgical cut/labels
audio-tool v0.2.0
Headless CLI + surgical editing on top of the same DSP core as the GUI.
New
- Command-line interface (
audio_tool_cli):analyze,batch(with--recursive), andinit-config. Structured JSON markers + reports, configurable JSON presets, leveled logging (--log-level,--log-file), and script-friendly exit codes. - Surgical cut + re-stitch (
--cut pauses, clicks, breaths): physically removes flagged regions and crossfades the joins (--crossfade-ms), producing a shorter.edited.wav. Also available in the GUI via cut-type checkboxes and Export Edited WAV. - Audacity label export (
--labels): writes a.labels.txtlabel track that imports into Audacity / Reaper for manual editing. - Shared
audio_core::Pipelineso the GUI and CLI use identical detection/cleaning logic.
Safety
- Source files are never modified. All outputs go to a separate folder; the tool refuses to overwrite the source and won't clobber prior outputs without
