Songbird is an application designed for small music artists to build a following. The app allows users to provide a link to their Spotify accounts, which allows the application to retrieve and display their information. Artists are able to be discovered by new listeners and added to their likes page. A user's likes page allows them to see artists they were previously fond of and view them on other provided platforms.
This project utilizes the Dart programming language and the Flutter GUI framework. Packages and libraries needed are provided in our pubspec.yaml.
To run this program, install Dart and Flutter.
Once installed, clone the repo into your desired directory. Navigate to the repo in your terminal and run the command:
flutter pub get
Now, all necessary packages should be installed. In the same terminal, run the command:
flutter run
You will then be prompted to select your device, where you will select whatever Android or iOS emulator you have running.
After selecting your device, the app should run.
