What's new

  • Update your PC bridge too: run npm install -g aura-mcp-connect@latest (0.11.0), then pair again from AURA → MCP. Pairing now uses protocol 3. Bridges older than 0.10.0 can't connect.
  • Choose what each computer can do: pick tool groups per trusted computer, so an AI app on your PC only gets the phone abilities you allow.
  • Fewer, clearer tools for AI apps: 56 look-alike tools merged into 42, and every observation now says what to do next in the situation at hand.
  • Same safety rules for every agent: the action guard now runs inside the phone's tool server, so it applies to any AI app driving the phone, not just AURA's own agent.
  • The pairing token is sent only after you approve the verification code, and it's kept out of phone backups.
  • Safer browser and link handling: URLs, deep-link queries, web search and share text are screened, and file uploads accept only media you picked.
  • The optional aura-phone skill ships with the bridge, so Claude Code knows how to drive the phone well.
  • Fixes for slow or busy Wi-Fi pairing, and a handshake small enough for Claude Code.
