DisTalk v1.4.0 – Stability Update ⚙️🚀

With DisTalk v1.4.0, we’re rolling out a major stability update that makes the app smoother, faster, and far more reliable in everyday use.

The focus of this release isn’t new features, but a noticeably better overall experience from startup to daily usage.

🚀 What’s new in v1.4.0

  • Much faster startup – the app now opens instantly without noticeable delay
  • Smoother performance – reduced stuttering and overall improved responsiveness
  • Lower resource usage – optimized CPU and RAM consumption
  • Improved installer – a more reliable and cleaner installation process
  • General stability & bug fixes – multiple issues have been fixed to make the app more robust
  • No more unnecessary reloads – the app stays stable during usage

📦 Installation / Uninstallation

Installation

  1. Download DisTalkSetup.exe
  2. Run the installer and complete setup
  3. Use the desktop or Start Menu shortcut
  4. Launch the app and you’re good to go

Uninstallation

  1. Open the Start Menu
  2. Go to DisTalk → Uninstall
  3. Follow the steps to remove the app

💡 Notes

  • Windows 10 or newer required
  • After updating, a restart of the app may help if old sessions are still active
