Usage
KitEngine features an intuitive kit designing UI where you can define basic data such as the name, an icon (for later use in the kit GUI) as well as if it should replace or add to the player's inventory. In order to create a kit, you must have the permission 'Kit.Save'. This node allows the use for the command '/savekit'. Upon running this command you will be greeted with a gui looking like this:
The first item in the GUI (a barrier) will cancel or delete the kit. If you have not defined a name, no changes will be made, however, if you set the name to an existing kit and then cancel, it will delete the kit.
The second item in the GUI (an oak sign) is used to set the name. Once a name is set the file for the kit is created on the spot, however this does not mean the kit is ready for use. To set the name, simply click on the sign. The next message you send it chat will not be sent and instead will be used for the kit name.
The third item in the GUI (usually another oak sign) is used to set the icon. Just like setting the name, you will set the icon via chat. Icons are any 'material', view this link for a list of 'materials'
If you have Vault installed, you will be able to set a price for the kit. Just click the sign that is for setting the price
The fourth item (another oak sign, yes I know) is used for the replace inventory toggle. If this toggle is set on, the next time someone acquires the kit everything will be removed from their current inventory and replaced with the exact slots set in the inventory snapshot (view below for information on that), otherwise they will be added to their current inventory.
Alright! your kit is nearly complete! Now all you have to do is determine if you have everything in your inventory ready for a 'snapshot'. An 'Inventory Snapshot' will take all of the items in your inventory exactly how they are, the exact same slots, damage values, enchantments, everything. If you don't think your inventory is ready for this, you can simply close the '/savekit' GUI, fix up your inventory and then return to your previous work by using the '/savekit' command. as long as you didn't cancel, your previous work should still be there. After your inventory is ready, click the fifth item in the '/savekit' GUI. In doing so, the snapshot of your inventory is saved in a file located at '/plugins/KitEngine/Kits/' along with all of the settings set in the '/savekit' GUI.
Acquiring a kit is as easy as stubbing your toe, while this is a terrible analogy that probably made you not want to use this plugin, it is very user friendly and easy to understand.
the /kit command can be used as '/kit '. This will give them the kit they specified
This command opens a GUI where players can pick a kit. Kits they have access to are the only kits that will show.
