XR_EXT_view_rig SPEC_VERSION 3 compatibility (native): the runtime advanced the extension to SPEC 3, which adds a trailing metersToVirtual float to XrCameraRigEXT. The plugin shipped the SPEC 2 struct, so against a SPEC 3 runtime the runtime read that field past the end of the plugin's struct for camera-centric rigs (DisplayXRCamera) — undefined value (best case 0 → runtime's pre-v3 default of 1.0, worst case garbage → wrong world scale). The plugin now declares SPEC 3 and writes metersToVirtual = 1.0f (scene scale is already folded into convergenceDiopters, so this exactly preserves pre-v3 behavior). Display-centric rigs (DisplayXRDisplay → XrDisplayRigEXT) were unaffected — that struct is byte-identical across SPEC 2/3 — so the transparent/2D-UI display-centric demos already worked on a SPEC 3 runtime; this fixes the camera-centric path. Detection remains name-based (no version gate).
