New Features

Standalone Service Support

  • Linux: systemd unit file (dirforge.service) included forexample
  • Windows: Install/uninstall batch scripts (install-service.bat / uninstall-service.bat) for running as a Windows service
  • Self-contained publish artifacts are now produced in the release workflow

New MCP Tools
Four new MCP tools for deeper file system analysis:

  • search_by_size — find files matching size criteria
  • disk_usage_summary — get storage usage breakdown
  • find_largest_directories — identify space-consuming directories
  • search_by_date — search files by modification date

Bug Fixes

  • Icon resolver: folders are now correctly ignored when resolving icon paths, preventing resolution errors
