Pre-release
Pre-release
Highlights
Beta.3 introduces worker personas and promise management.
Personas
- Browse native PWS alter egos with gimmicks, pictures, masks, promotion restrictions, and date eligibility.
- Apply personas such as The Undertaker, Mankind, and Dude Love to player-company contracts.
- Change contract ring names without renaming the underlying global worker.
- Apply and verify the persona's complete presentation.
- Restore the original name, gimmick, picture, mask, and promotion restriction exactly.
- Change personas between free use, the player promotion, or a specific promotion.
Worker promises
- Read pending, active, declined, fulfilled, and expired promises.
- Inspect requesting workers, contracts, deadlines, titles, and decision emails.
- Preview and transactionally accept or decline pending requests.
- Apply PWS-compatible email handling and worker-relationship consequences.
Additional fixes
- Fixed contract-scoped persona pagination.
- Normalized event importance and show segment types.
- Preserved House Show importance correctly.
- Expanded post-write verification and rollback protection.
- Added a comprehensive beta playtest checklist and beta.4 backlog.
Validation
- 61 automated tests passing.
- Manifest and release-package validation passing.
- Live-tested against VWE1.
- Undertaker, Mankind, Dude Love, custom renaming, exact restoration, stables, events, booking, segment editing, venues, titles, and audit logging verified.
- The Undertaker presentation was visually confirmed inside PWS.
Pending promise accept/decline behavior is covered by automated transactional tests and validated against PWS's native implementation. The live VWE1 save had no pending decision request available.
