(MODX)EvolutionCMS.plugins.ddManagerFavorites

Manager plugin: favorite files/folders tab in the left tree.

• Plugin creates a tab in the Manager left menu, next to the documents tree.
• Add any files/folders to favorites.
• List is automatically sorted alphabetically.
• Click opens file edit (with focus on textarea) or folder view.
• Favorites are stored in the browser (in localStorage), to avoid overloading the database (write in the support chat, if you prefer the database, we will think about this).

Requires

• PHP >= 7.4
• (MODX)EvolutionCMS >= 1.4
• (MODX)EvolutionCMS.libraries.ddTools >= 0.69

Installation

Using (MODX)EvolutionCMS.libraries.ddInstaller

Just run the following PHP code in your sources or Console:

• If ddManagerFavorites is not exists on your site, ddInstaller will just install the plugin.
• If ddManagerFavorites is already exists on your site, ddInstaller will check it version and update it if needed.
• After installation, set the system event OnManagerTreeRender in the plugin settings (ddInstaller does not yet support events).

Manually

1. Elements → Plugins: Create a new plugin with the following data

1. Plugin name: ddManagerFavorites.
2. Description: <b>1.0</b> Manager favorite files/folders tab..
3. Category: Core → Manager.
4. Parse DocBlock: no.
5. Plugin code (php): Insert content of the ddManagerFavorites_plugin.php file from the archive.
6. System Events: OnManagerTreeRender.

2. Elements → Manage Files

1. Create a new folder assets/plugins/ddManagerFavorites/.
2. Extract the archive to the folder (except ddManagerFavorites_plugin.php).
