First Windows release of RaceWave46, an AI-assisted Wave Race 64 recompilation
developed and playtested over many months.

Highlights

• Higher resolutions, widescreen and ultrawide support, frame interpolation,
  HUD placement/filtering, configurable field of view and wave roundness.
• Added Direct3D 12 water and sky reflections and shadows, with Rasterized and
  Ray Traced choices and contextual quality controls.
• Extended scenery, buoy, water-surface, seabed and cloud coverage options.
• Horizontal and vertical two-player layouts, separate Direct3D 12 player
  windows, Enhanced visual detail and Dolphin Park Free Ride with music.
• Configurable controls and rumble, local progress and ghost recording,
  optional texture packs and RetroAchievements softcore achievements.
• Fullscreen anniversary frontend with the 30th Anniversary artwork.

Download and play

Extract RaceWave46-Windows-x64-v1.0.0.zip and open
WaveRace64Recompiled.exe. Import your own Wave Race 64 USA Rev 1 ROM and
choose Start Game. No ROM, saves, account details or texture packs are bundled.
Keep your .runtime directory when updating.

Vulkan supports original rendering and the shared enhancements. Added
Rasterized/Ray Traced water, sky and shadow effects and separate player windows
require Direct3D 12. Ray tracing requires compatible hardware, and Ray Traced
shadows require Ray Traced water. The settings screen explains unavailable

RaceWave46-Source-v1.0.0.zip contains the corresponding source, including
modified dependencies, portable Windows build scripts and license notices.
Original RaceWave46 contributions are GPL-3.0-only; third-party terms remain
with their respective components. See the third-party notices for details. SHA-256 files accompany both archives.

Useful bug reports include the course/mode, steps to reproduce, GPU/driver,
graphics API and enhancement settings. Please do not attach ROMs or account
credentials. Online multiplayer and RetroAchievements Hardcore/leaderboards
are not included.
