OhmerPrems v2.6.13 (BETA pre-release, manual install/update only)
Pre-release
OhmerPrems plugin pre-release version 2.6.13 BETA (based on Rack 2 SDK v2.6.6), for Linux, MacOS X (ARM/Apple Silicon CPU), MacOS X (Intel CPU), and Windows platforms.
Provided package files (from Assets section, below) are designed for manual installation/update (not available from VCV Library for automatic installation/update during pre-release beta-test phase).
This pre-release version 2.6.13 BETA:
- provides the new Vektor module (and its "right-side" VX expander).
- User waveform save parser being rewritten from scratch (to save signifiant space to json files).
- Added extra command to MIX ENVelope's right click context menu: Reset to factory MIX ENVelope.
- Fixed KlokSpid MkII potential crash on VCV Rack 2 launch (via autosave).
- Added Vektor_Support_Files.zip (from Assets section) for file load/import tests, during beta-test phase.
Vektor User's Manual (near finished, only one animated image is missing about Vektor "context"!).
This pre-release BETA is designed for manual installation (or update) only:
1/ Download the relevant .vcvplugin package file, from Assets (bottom of this page), regardling the platform you're using, so please do not confuse! ;)
2/ Run VCV Rack 2 (preferably as standalone version).
3/ From top-bar menu, select Help, then choose Open user folder (this command will open a new Explorer/Finder pointing to your user's Rack2 folder/directory.
4/ Into the fresh opened folder/directory (Finder, Explorer), locate, then browse into plugins-xxx subfolder (would be plugins-lin-x64, plugins-mac-arm64, plugins-mac-x64, or plugins-win-x64, depending the platform you're using).
5/ Copy the .vcvplugin file you've downloaded, into this "plugins-xxx" subfolder.
6/ Close, then restart VCV Rack 2 (this operation will install the .vcvplugin you've copied, OhmerPrems plugin is installed, or updated).
⚠️ For beta-test phase on Vektor module (only), please do not forget to download Vektor support files, from Assets (below). This ZIP archive contains 19 demo waveform .wav files (to import to "User" waveform slots, from any oscillator context), a saved PROGRAM (.vktProgram) file, and a saved MIX ENVelope (.vktMixEnv) file, for testing purposes! Please consult Vektor User's Manual for how-to import/load a file ("PROGRAMS, IN DETAIL", "MIX ENVELOPES, IN DETAIL", and "OSCILLATORS, IN DETAIL" topics, in particular). Thank you.
