CapRust 0.8.2 - audio tail, waveform scroll, BG debug perf
Pre-release
Pre-release
Maintenance release on top of 0.8.1. Three user-facing fixes for the audio tail and waveform, plus a debug-build perf change.
Fixed
- Audio playback stopped at the end of video content. The render plan's total duration now includes audio and text clips, not just video, so ffmpeg keeps writing PCM past the last video clip and the audio tail plays through to its real end.
- Playhead froze and the timeline stopped scrolling at video EOF. The advance is now driven every frame while playback is active, not gated on a fresh preview frame.
- Waveform froze at zoom 4x or higher. The draw loop always started at \peaks[0]\ regardless of scroll position; it now slices the peaks array by the visible fraction of the clip.
Changed
- Background removal in debug builds is now usable. tract-onnx, tract-linalg and tract-core get \opt-level = 3\ in the dev profile so \cargo run\ does not spend minutes per frame on inference.
Requirements
Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit. FFmpeg auto-downloads on first run if not found on PATH.
Install
Run \CapRust-0.8.2-win64-setup.exe\.
