CapRust 0.9.8 - captions, beat-sync and new presets
Pre-release
Pre-release
CapRust 0.9.8
Added
- SRT sidecar export. New switch in the export dialog plus File
menu entry writes.srtnext to the video (or standalone) from
normalized caption cues. SharedCueWindowutilities in core. - Beat-sync (analysis + markers). Onset-flux BPM detection runs
as a background job from the Sound panel, grids persist per media
with size/mtime fingerprinting, stale grids prune on load, and
markers draw on the ruler. Snap-to-beat stays a follow-up. - 4 effects, 7 transitions, 4 voice FX. Negative, pixelate,
sketch, sharpen; dissolve, smooth ×4, circle-close, pixelize
(xfade path, overlap handling included); telephone, bass, echo,
chipmunk per-clip voice filters. Docs: CONTRIBUTING +
TRANSLATING guides.
Fixed
- Edit menu Split/Delete/Ripple Delete were stubs since PR 7;
they now dispatch the same undoable commands as the keys. - Caption rows no longer stack on overlaps. Whisper segments
overlap in time but enable windows clamped only within a segment;
a normalization pass clamps across segments (preview and export
share the plan, one fix covers both).
