Status of this project?

We haven't seen an official release for a while, and some PRs have been opened without any review or comments for a while as well. I do see nightly releases and commits, which means there is hope 🤞

What's the status of this project? It's an amazing app, and I love it and use it extensively, and would like to keep it going. If help is needed maintaining it, I'm volunteering.

No big reason. It has always been a hobby project to me and I'm trying to keep it as such. Aside from also having other things to do besides this project.

There are indeed quite a few PRs open. A lot of them using AI to implement things.
While I'm not against the use of AI as a tool because it does help people understand and edit the codebase a lot faster. For me it's mostly the economical/world impact it has (prices, corporations profiting etc.) that has me second guessing if I should or should not include them.

On the future of the project, so long as I'm still using it (which I am extensively) I will keep pushing updates and adding things. But it will mostly be things I like working on.

Despite my slow reviewing process 😅, any pull request is still more then welcome.

I completely respect your stance on AI code and balancing opensource with real life. It's definitely a tricky line to navigate for opensource maintainers right now (this is the world we live in now 😅).

I'm hoping a few of those open PRs cross the finish line soon. Appreciate all your time on this!
